Taufiq Gurjar is 84 years old and he is from a family that is ancestrally involved with livestock and animal husbandry for a century. Even ten years ago his family had a herd of 480 sheep along with goat and donkey but presently his family has less than 100 cattle. The effect of heat wave along with shrinking of land due to developmental plans by the government causes death and health issue in breeding and less pastoral land that has adversely affected the family business with measurable economic loss.
